The Academy of DungeoneeringStory games for working teams

Team Adventures

Give your team a story of its own.

For a few hours, your colleagues become explorers, investigators or spectacularly unqualified heroes. There is a problem to solve, a questionable plan and a fair chance the plan will change.

No experience needed. No acting required.

A leather ledger, lock picks and brass keys on a harbour map, lit by a lantern.

We’ll bring the adventure.

A few possibilities

Choose your adventure.

Every experience is a complete story. Open an adventure below, then we’ll help you find one that suits your group.

The adventure collection / 01

A ledger, lock picks and keys on a map of the harbour.

The Heist

One impossible job.
Six questionable plans.

Something valuable needs recovering from somewhere heavily guarded. A backup plan would be wise.

A locked door is only the beginning.

The adventure collection / 02

Illustrated equipment for a rescue adventure.

The Rescue

The clock is ticking.

Someone needs help, the clock is ticking and the obvious route is blocked. Your team will have to find another way through.

There must be another way in.

The adventure collection / 03

Illustrated clues and objects for a mystery adventure.

The Mystery

Everybody knows something.
Nobody knows enough.

A disappearance and a collection of odd clues give the group plenty to untangle. The useful detail might be the one somebody nearly forgot to mention.

Start with the question nobody asked.

The adventure collection / 04

A brass compass, water flask and candle on a mountain map.

The Expedition

Beyond the edge of the map.

The map is incomplete, the supplies won't last forever and something is moving beyond the next ridge.

We’re fairly sure this is the right way.

Prefer a starship in trouble, a small town with a secret or a dragon with unreasonable demands? Tell us what appeals to your group and we’ll help choose a story.

An afternoon elsewhere

Something different to do together.

A team day can simply be a chance to enjoy each other’s company. Come for a first shared experience, a celebration or an afternoon beyond your everyday roles.

Set the scene.

Beforehand, we talk about your group, agree the arrangements and discuss preferences, story boundaries and participation requirements.

Make your move.

Everyone picks a ready-made character. I describe the situation; you decide what to do. We explain the rules as they come up, so nobody needs to prepare.

See what happens.

Save the day, make a magnificent mess or find a solution I hadn’t thought of. The story finishes within the session, with an optional closing chat about your favourite moments.

A team’s table becomes a map-filled adventure by lantern light.
The same colleagues. A rather different afternoon.

Pull up a chair

Everyone has a place at the table.

You don’t need to be loud, theatrical or experienced. A professional game master keeps the story moving and helps everybody find a way in.

Play in your own way.

Speak as your character, describe their actions, ask questions or take a little time to think. Nobody has to perform for an audience.

Know what to expect.

We agree what stays out of the story before play. Anyone can skip a scene without explaining why. Tell us about access or participation requirements when you enquire so we can discuss suitable adjustments.

Enjoy it for its own sake.

Team Adventures has no formal training debrief, written development report or follow-up. And no, your manager won’t receive a secret report about how you handled the goblins.
