The Academy of DungeoneeringStory games for working teams

For the person booking

You want this for your team. Here's how to get it signed off.

Most sessions are booked by one person who thinks their team would love it. These are the words to make the case.

An envelope closed with an oxblood wax seal pressed with a small dragon, beside a cup of tea, a fountain pen and a pair of glasses.

The case in five lines

What your manager needs to hear.

  • It's team development, not a night out: a facilitated session with a debrief and a written outcome.
  • It shows how the team shares information, makes decisions and handles a plan that falls apart.
  • Nobody needs experience, nobody has to act, and nobody is assessed as an individual.
  • The team gets a one-page write-up within two working days, and reads it first.
  • £750 for up to six people, or £250 for one of the first two pilot teams.

Hi [name],

I'd like to book a team session with The Academy of Dungeoneering. It's a three-hour cooperative story game, run by an experienced game master, followed by a 45-minute debrief on how we share information, make decisions and handle a plan that falls apart.

Nobody needs any experience or has to act, and nobody is assessed individually. Afterwards we'd get a one-page write-up about the team, which we'd read first.

It's £750 for up to six of us, or £250 if we're one of their first two pilot teams. There's more at academyofdungeoneering.com.

Could we use some of the team budget for it?
